- Authorisation for exceptional rules
In the New regulation on organic farming of 25 June 2009 (Dz. U. Nr 116 poz. 975) it was established that authorization for exceptional rules in organic farming, mentioned in the Regulation No. 889/2008, must be given by Voivodship Inspector of Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection or Head Inspector of Agricultural and Food Quality after receiving an opinion on this case from the certification body.
The exceptional rules refer to, i.e. bringing onto a holding of non-organic animals, purchase and bringing onto a production of non-organic fowl, retrospective recognition of conversion period, permanent tethering of cattle.
